HOLIDAY HELP.....

This year's holiday party for children wtih special needs and their families was outstanding! Over 215 children came out to eat good food, enjoy an arts & craft project and of course the evening's highlight - a welcomed visit from Santa Claus himself! Each child went home with a bag of presents and a goody bag filled with various treats and a 2009 wall calender.

Each child was adopted out and sponsors came from local businesses, churches, banks, community clubs and neighborhood families. Without the generosity of our adopters, the kids would not have had the Christmas they had!

Some of our annual adopters include Pella Doors & Windows in West Chicago, Catholic Order of Foresters in Naperville, West Chicago State Bank, Glen Arbor Church in West Chicago and Trinity Lutheran Church in Warrenville. In addition, the children of Grace Pointe Church in Naperville put together over 50 shoes boxes of goodies for our kids! And we can't forget so many great individuals and families in Aurora, West Chicago, Naperville, Wheaton and Warrenville for going over and beyond what they needed to!

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO MADE THE 2008 HOLIDAY SEASON SO GREAT FOR OUR KIDS!!!
